The LGBT Center is an important resource for many queer groups on Penn’s campus and in the greater Philadelphia community, serving as meeting space and an organizational hub. Confidential Questioning Events
Do you or anyone you know need help figuring things out? Do you have a friend who just came out? Come to a confidential, no risk meeting with questions involving sexual identity and the coming out process. Email firstname.lastname@example.org to get the confidential location. Counseling and Psychological Services (CAPS) offers therapy, counseling, crisis intervention, medication consultation, and psychological evaluation for members of the Penn community. To schedule an appointment or consult with a counselor, call 215 – 898 – 7021 between 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday.
SHS offers comprehensive primary care for Penn students, including free, confidential, rapid HIV testing.
The William Way Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Community Center is the premiere LGBT Community Center serving the Philadelphia region.
Mazzoni Center is a Philadelphia health and wellness center which focuses on the needs of LGBT individuals and the community.
The Attic is an independent LGBTQ youth center located in Philadelphia.
Equality Forum is a major LGBT civil rights organization based in Philadelphia. Equality Forum coordinates LGBT History Month and the annual Equality Forum conference.
